R.E.M. – It’s The End Of The World As We Know It.
Except… it isn’t, as the rapture did not happen. Nor did raptors appear (although that would be awesome! As long as they don’t learn how to open doors…). So surprise surprise, the Earth is still spinning at 465 metres per second around the equator, people are still going about their daily business, and no massive rolling earthquake has besieged the globe. Time for everyone to carry on and maybe, perhaps, perchance, think a little more sceptically about life and themselves. Wishful thinking, but one can always hope!
