Khan Academy – Flipping The Classroom

I’ve already extolled the virtues of Khan Academy, and believe that everyone should start using it. In the few months that I’ve been exploring Khan Academy, I know I’ve learnt a great deal, and it’s been fun to learn it. Currently working my way through the Cosmology and Astronomy videos, from which the intriguing above video is taken. Could the whole Universe really be smaller than the observable Universe?

The great thing about Khan Academy is the way that it can flip the classroom around; watch the videos at home, do the exercises in class. The frees up the teachers, allowing them to tutor individual pupils who are struggling on specific exercises.

I highly recommend everyone take a look at Khan Academy; with over 2700 videos, there’s bound to be something of interest! Here’s to fun learning. Onwards!
