I saw The Avengers Assemble the other day, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sure, it’s silly with big explosions, but it is also great fun, excellently put together, and has some truly memorable moments (like Loki’s “mewling quim!” quip). So, to commemorate the film, here are a few random titbits related to the film that made me chuckle. Check it out after the break…
First up, we have one of the stars of the film, Iron Man aka Robert Downey Jr, teaching maths. He’s really rather good at it!
After all this counting, let’s look at something a little more amusing. Have you ever wondered what The Avengers Assemble main poster would look like if all of the male characters (Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, and Hulk) posed like the female character (Black Widow)? No? Well, let me enlighten you:
That poster makes me chuckle lots. Highly amusing, especially Hulk. Finally, we come on to a review of the film itself, for those undecided as to whether to watch it or not. However, this review takes a different stance on a normal review, and goes into detail about the character of Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo. The review is also written by Film Crit Hulk. IN ALL CAPS. IT GOOD. GO READ, OR HULK SMASH!
I think that’s enough of The Avengers Assemble for one post. I would definitely recommend seeing it: for the action, for the drama, for the comedy, and FOR HULK! Onwards!
