Total Lunar Eclipse 15th June 2011

Last night, the 15th June 2011, there was a total lunar eclipse, which occurs when the shadow of the Earth passes directly across the surface of the Sun. The above video shows the whole eclipse, with the red moon clearly visible. An explanation of what is happening during a lunar eclipse is well explained in this video, and is well worth checking out.

I see a red moon rising. Onwards!
