Distance To Mars

Earth MarsHow far is it to Mars from Earth?

Very.

If Earth were 100 pixels wide, the moon would be 3000 pixels away, and Mars would be 428,000 pixels away. It would also only be 53 pixels wide, so just over half the size of Earth (picture left from NASA).

Of course, the distance varies due to the orbits of both planets, but overall, it’s pretty far away! Onwards!
