I’ve already told you about the greatness of the Periodic Table, along with Tom Lehrer‘s great song, but here we have a slightly different Periodic Table. This one shows the elements and the country they were discovered in (New Scientist). As you can see, the UK tops the list with the most discoveries, huzzah! Although the most recent ones have mainly been discovered in the USA.

Which country will next discover a new element? Onwards!
