Slow Motion Bead Chain Experiment

This bead chain experiment is amazing, and seems to utterly defy physics. Dropping the start of the bead chain out of the beaker results in the rest following and falling out as well, but via a large loop upwards first. Seeing the experiment done in slow motion shows the great waves that are formed too.

Now, where to find me my own bead chain… Onwards!
