The brown eyes / blue eyes racism experiment is a powerful social exercise by Jane Elliott, teaching people about discrimination and racism. Instead of mentioning skin colour, she talks about eye colour, how blue eyed people are better than brown eyed people, or vice versa. It’s interesting to see how quickly the kids adopt their roles as either superior or inferior, depending on eye colour.
It’s amazing how racism still exists in today’s world. Hopefully more people will see this and learn from it. Onwards!
