More Science Images Of 2013

shadow-saturnTime for some more amazing science images from the past year!

BuzzFeed has a collection of the 23 most breathtaking science photos of 2013, and they are utterly brilliant. Ranging from the nanoscale to the galactic scale, and everything in between, these images are really beautiful. Of course, my favourite is number 23, Saturn, shown here. I also really like number 18, the nanorose, and number 6, the cubesats dropped from the Japanese segment of the ISS.

The BBC also has a collection of science photos from 2013, focusing on space. They start the collection off with Saturn (obviously), and follow it with Commander Chris Hadfield’s Space Oddity, and the Mars Curiosity rover selfie. The rest of the images are fantastic too.

Do you have a favourite image of 2013? Onwards!
