More scientific GIFs! This time, 20 amazing GIFs of chemical reactions.
I’ve already posted about various scientific GIFs, of the mesmerising and awesome sort. But here are some more! There are a few the same, such as burning mercury(II) thiocyanate, and the explosive polymerisation reaction between p-nitroaniline and concentrated sulphuric acid. There are many new ones here which I hadn’t seen before though, and they are fantastic! The one shown above is the Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction, which is very fractal-esque. The snake venom mixing with blood is creepy, as is the blood meeting hydrogen peroxide. In fact, any experiments involving blood are creepy. I’m a big fan of the elephant’s toothpaste reaction!
Which is your favourite GIF shown here? Onwards!
