Planet And Star Size Comparison

I’ve already shown a video comparing star sizes, which is both fascinating and scary. However, it doesn’t give much extra information. “Our Planet and Sun in Size Perspective” does though, and is well worth checking out.

The picture shown here gives me chills each time I look at it. Just look at the four planets larger than Earth! Jupiter and Saturn utterly dwarf it, and yet, they themselves are tiny compared to our Sun. It doesn’t end there though, with our massive Sun appearing minuscule in comparison to other stars. Mind blowing stuff.
